Abstract: What are the best materials and properties for energy production and conversion? What is the best material for heat measurement and to elicit successful cold fusion, also known as lattice assisted nuclear reactions (LANR)? You guessed it: Water. It is the best because of its condensed structures and electrical properties, which are significantly different from all other materials for so many reasons. Most importantly, these amazing properties of water are absolutely needed to support many types of active cold fusion systems, not to mention life itself. To understand water's role in energy production and heat measurement which is generally positive but sometimes very negative, one must first understand the history and knowledge of its chemistry and electrophysics.
